Eddie & Kathy Tie the Knot-Vegas Style

Eddie and Kathy asked Jose and I to witness their nuptuals in Las Vegas on November 23rd. It's pretty amazing that they were able to get the marriage license, buy the bouquet, and get married in approximately 3 hours. Now that's quick! Their plan is to do the actual ceremony in November 2009 in Taiwan!!!

We're Having a Baby!

So, surprisingly it didn't take us very long after the wedding to get pregnant. We'd imagined it would take at least several months for that to happen, but here we are in October with a bun in the oven! Jose and I will be expecting our baby at the end of June.

Dinner was incredible! There were several courses that made it impossible to eat everything. Especially when one's body was cinched between a snug bodice of lace, beading and tulle. Everyone raved about the food which was exactly what we had hoped they would do. Merrill sang "Anything you want" just perfectly. Lavita (Kat's mom) tearfully caught my wedding bouquet. Bernhard caught the garter. Jose and I ended the evening dancing in one another's arms. Our family and friends seemed to enjoy themselves and for us, that made it the wedding of our dreams!

Here is the Sanctuari de Gracia where we got married. The church is situated on the cliff of a mountain near the town of Llucmajor. The church was quaint, cozy, and very ornate on the inside.
